If you do not care about an app and you just want a wireless doorbell that *will ring*, the TECKNET is the one I recommend. It cleared 1,250 ft on my open-air range test, which is further than every other chime-only doorbell I have measured.
110 dB at 1 m is loud enough for a workshop or a back garden, and the silent flashing-LED mode is a nice touch for hearing-impaired users or sleeping kids.
No mobile app, no Alexa, no anything smart. That is by design at this price point and is exactly why the battery on the transmitter lasts four-plus years.
